Looking forward to 2008

Prediction: George W. Bush will soon begin to argue that, since he wasn’t really elected in 2000 (gasp! the liberal bloggers were right, the Supreme Court appointed him!), the Twenty-second Amendment doesn’t yet apply to him and so Bush can run for the presidency again in 2008. Al Gore, head of the new Is America Hot or Not party, retorts, “There’s that fuzzy Bush math again. Sigh. George, you served four years of my term, so the Twenty-Second does apply.”
