Just back from the science writers book club meeting, where host Neil Caudle set the stage for the discussion of Omnivore’s Dilemma by preparing a supper of grilled grass-fed beef from Baldwin Charolais Beef and local and organic vegetables and wines from North Carolina.got a fantastic. My friend, Bora Zivkovic, joined us for the discussion, too.

And in my email inbox is a message from my college roommate Stephan Liozu, telling me he and his wife are moving down from Delaware to Raleigh, where he starts a job next month. That’s fantastic news. I can’t wait to see him again.
