Medical detective story

Heard the NPR interview with D.T. Max this evening, Max talking about his new book The Family That Couldn’t Sleep. This book builds on his 2001 NYTimes story about a genetic prion disease. I thought that was a great article, and it inspired me to enter the medical journalism program at UNC’s j-school.
