NPR and NYTimes, among other media outlets, no doubt, today feature Plenty: One Man, One Woman, and a Raucous Year of Eating Locally, by Alisa Smith and J.B. MacKinnon.
On Tuesday, I’m taking the girls to the Farm-to-Fork picnic at Chapel Hill Creamery, just one of the many efforts here in the Triangle to promote eating locally produced meats and vegetables. (This week, with luck, I’ll announce a BlogTogether food blogging event with Michael Ruhlman.)
Eat food. Not too much. Mostly plants.
